Enphase Energy Inc. says it plans to expand its engineering facility in Christchurch, New Zealand, to support the design, development and testing of its micro-inverters.
The Christchurch engineering location will integrate its existing office and engineering facilities, expanding the company's current staff in New Zealand. The new facility will be Enphase's second-largest office outside of the company's headquarters in California.
Enphase expects to draw on its relationship with the University of Canterbury in order to recruit employees. The University of Canterbury's graduate placement initiative receives aid from a New Zealand government-funded program.
‘New Zealand is an untapped market for exceptional engineering talent,’ says Nathan Dunn, Asia-Pacific managing director for Enphase.
