Enthone Inc., a business of Cookson Electronics, has acquired Germany-based Ormecon GmbH, which specializes in printed wiring board final finishes. The acquisition bolsters Enthone's plan to offer a platform of new coatings technologies for a wide range of applications.
Ormecon's development of conductive polymers and nano dispersions has allowed it to offer products for photovoltaic/solar cells, OLEDs and electroluminescence applications, as well as conductive coatings for indium tin oxide replacements.
