San Diego-based Envision Solar International Inc. has announced the EV ARC, a standalone electric vehicle (EV) solar charging station. According to the company, the product requires no foundation, no trenching, no building permit and no grid connection.
Envision says the EV ARC fits inside a standard parking space and generates approximately 16 kWh per day that are stored and ready for use in the 22 kWh onboard battery storage. The system's solar electrical generation is enhanced by EnvisionTrak, which enables the solar array to follow the sun, the company adds.
