enXco, an EDF Energies Nouvelles company, has officially completed a 1.8 MW (DC) solar installation at Hall's Warehouse Corp. in South Plainfield, N.J.
The installation brings the total solar energy generation at Hall's to 3.2 MW, making the system New Jersey's largest private commercial rooftop solar system, enXco notes.
The roof-mounted, fixed-tilt solar array, developed and owned by enXco, consists of 20,184 First Solar panels and 2,190 UNI-SOLAR laminates installed at the 501 Kentile Rd. and 601 Kentile Rd. facilities. enXco will own and operate the system and supply the project's output to Hall's Corp. under a power purchase agreement on a net-metering basis.
Infinite Energy and Clean Energy Holdings co-developed the project, with Vanguard Energy Partners LLC as the installer. enXco Service Corp. will provide operations and maintenance services.
