ersol Thin Film GmbH, a subsidiary of ersol Solar Energy AG, has launched Vega-T, its first micromorph thin-film module. This technology provides an initial efficiency of approximately 8%, the company says.
Vega-T has already been certified by TUV, and test certificates IEC 61646 and IEC 61730 have been acquired. A future improvement is also planned. The Vega-T plus, a future version, will be based on a toughened front glass.
