ESA Renewables LLC, a turnkey PV system developer, has been awarded a contract to provide a turnkey PV system with a capacity of 1 MW. All electricity generated will be sold to Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) under a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA).
The system will be located in Culberson, N.C., approximately 200 miles southwest of Charlotte, N.C. ESA will provide design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, testing, and operations and maintenance services. The solar array will consist of approximately 4,166 solar panels and is expected to generate approximately 1,302 MWh of electricity annually.
