eSolar, a producer of modular, scalable concentrating solar thermal power plants, has named Gary J. Breton senior vice president of operations. Breton brings to eSolar more than 20 years' experience in executing global expansion and improving the operational profitability of semiconductor companies.
Prior to joining eSolar, Breton oversaw financial operations for Aurora Semiconductor and led sourcing efficiency initiatives at Cypress Semiconductor. Previously, as a senior vice president at Amkor Technologies, he supervised the operations of seven factories in six countries, where he successfully drove growth in Asian markets.
Over the course of his career, Breton has led teams in creating and implementing effective solutions involved with overall financial growth, government interaction, operations and customer relationships in foreign markets. He holds an MBA and a bachelor's degree in management from the University of La Salle.
