0

ET Solar Group Corp., a manufacturer of photovoltaic products, has announced a 3 MW dual-axis tracking system and module sales contract for a new solar farm project in Oregon.

Under the contract, ET Solar will ship a total of 273 dual-axis trackers in the first half of 2008, with the first shipment expected to be effected in April. Each tracker has a peak output of 11 kW and can produce, depending on geography, a range of 20,000 to 28,000 kWh a year. All dual-axis trackers are jointly developed between Meca Solar and ET Solar and will be operating on the high-efficiency solar modules manufactured by ET Solar.

‘The 3 MW tracker transaction is the first sizeable tracking system sale that a China-based integrated solar company has made in the world's major solar markets,’ comments Xinghua Wang, chairman of ET Solar. ‘This is truly a milestone event for the entire Chinese solar industry.’
