Germany-based market research institute EuPD Research says it is carrying out the world's largest installer survey in the field of photovoltaics. More than 750 installation companies from Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Great Britain, Greece and Belgium will be questioned during the survey.
The aim of the evaluation is to attain a comprehensive analysis of the current market environment and market segments in selected countries. Installers are important intermediaries between manufacturers and the end customers in this segment, EuPD Research says.
The survey is split into four topics: current framework conditions of the markets, installed capacities and shares of each technology; supply management; manufacturers' market penetration; and brand management and image, as well as the level of awareness enjoyed by module manufacturers' products. Finally, the study conducts a country-to-country comparison of the results to demonstrate distinctions among different market environments.
