Danish wind and solar developer European Energy A/S has developed and constructed several large-scale solar PV plants totaling 50.4 MW in Vandel, Denmark.

All of the plants have been grid-connected and have secured a base feed-in tariff for the exported electricity.

Recently, European Energy A/S signed a conditional agreement to sell these projects to a fund managed by Allianz Global Investors GmbH. The company says it owns 50% of the PV plants sold.

The purchase price, which has not been finalized, will be based on a number of determining factors, including the plants' final feed-in tariff rate. This final rate is expected in early 2016.
