Evergreen Solar Inc., a Marlboro, Mass.-based manufacturer of solar products, has appointed Michael El-Hillow chief financial officer.
El-Hillow was a member of Evergreen's board of directors since August 2004 and chairman since October 2005 – he has resigned from the board. Prior to this position, he served as chief financial officer at several multinational publicly traded companies, including Fort Collins, Colo.-headquartered Advanced Energy Industries Inc. and Chelmsford, Mass.-based Helix Technology Corp.
