Evergreen Solar Inc., a manufacturer of String Ribbon solar panels with its proprietary silicon wafer technology, has launched the new ES-E Series String Ribbon solar panels.
These new panels feature a higher voltage than previous models, making them compatible with micro-inverters for residential installations, the company says. They are also IEC 61701 salt-mist-certified, making them suitable for installations in coastal regions. In addition, they are UL and CEC listed, as well as ISO 9001 certified.
The new ES-E series are all-purpose panels available in power ranges 210 W to 220 W. Evergreen Solar says it has also improved panel aesthetics by embedding the electrical ties between the cell strings inside the panel so that they are not visible.
