Exosun has signed an agreement with Fonroche Energie to supply 12 MW of trackers and associated services for the Le Betout photovoltaic plant located in southwest France.

The plant, financed by Capenergie 2, a renewable energy investment fund managed by Omnes Capital, will be installed on a 79-acre site in Saint-Helene, near Bordeaux, and is expected to produce 16.9 GW of electricity per year.

Exosun is to supply and commission 81 Exotrack HZ horizontal single-axis solar trackers for the project. They will support 40,640 PV panels. The array will include the company's Exobox tracker control, which provides for on-site and remote operation, as well as data for monitoring.Â

The plant is scheduled to be commissioned in the third quarter of the year.
