Ferro Corp., a global supplier of technology-based performance materials for manufacturers, has appointed Thomas R. Miklich vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). Miklich succeeds Sallie B. Bailey, who will be leaving her position as vice president and CFO.
Miklich has over 30 years of diverse financial experience and has served as CFO for both public and private companies, including Titan Technology Partners, a privately held IT consulting firm; OM Group Inc., a specialty chemicals company; Invacare Corp., a manufacturer and distributor of medical equipment; Van Dorn Co., a manufacturer of containers for the food, chemical, paint, household, automotive products and petroleum industries; and The Sherwin Williams Co., a manufacturer and distributor of paint, coatings and related products.
Miklich is currently a director of Quality Distribution Inc. and Noranda Aluminum Holding Corp. He formerly served as a director of Titan Technology Partners and UAP Holding Corp.
