Phoenix-headquartered First Solar Inc., a manufacturer of thin film solar modules, has appointed Paul H. Stebbins to the company's board of directors.
Stebbins is chairman and chief executive officer of Miami-based World Fuel Services Corp., where he has served as chairman since July 2002 and director since June 1995. Between July 2000 and 2002, Stebbins served as the company's president and chief operating officer. In 1985, he co-founded Trans-Tec Services, a global marine fuel service company that World Fuel acquired in 1995.
