EDF Energies Nouvelles is launching construction of a 7 MW solar photovoltaic farm on land belonging to the Narbonne municipal authorities. This is one of the largest solar farms currently under construction in France, and it is scheduled to enter service by the end of the year.
The first structures supporting the solar panels, along with the inverters, are currently being put in place. The 95,000 thin-film modules are being supplied by First Solar and will be delivered to the site in late July.
