FLEXcon Appoints Three New Executives

FLEXcon, a provider of adhesive coating and laminating, has made three personnel changes. Don Ryel has been named vice president of global sourcing, Michelle Ostiguy has been promoted to director of photovoltaic and barrier business team, and Steve Tomas has been appointed director of the product branding business team.

Ryel will oversee FLEXcon's global strategy and work with the company's network of suppliers around the globe to ensure continuity and reliability of supply worldwide. He has worked in many areas of the FLEXcon organization for the past 12 years and has managed the product branding business team as vice president for the last eight years.

Ostiguy previously served as market development specialist for photovoltaics. During this time, she globally launched a full line of backsheets, namely FLEXcon multiGUARD, and a full-system sell approach of core products used in the manufacturing of solar panels. Tomas will be responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of this business unit. Since 2006, he has served as director of flexible electronics for FLEXcon.
