Flextronics has appointed Jeannine Sargent president of Flextronics Renewable Energy, a division of the company's industrial and emerging industries business unit. In her role, she is responsible for expanding and further developing Flextronics' presence and operations in the renewable energy solutions market.
Sargent, an experienced executive and technologist, joins Flextronics from AstroWatt Inc., where she serves as executive chairman. She simultaneously served as the executive in residence at Crosslink Capital and is a former CEO of both Oerlikon Solar and Voyan Technology.
