Government officials in France have notified the country's Commission de régulation de l'énergie that the purchase price for electricity from solar energy will be reduced by 12%.
This adjustment applies to large-scale and commercial installations, and small-scale residential projects will not be affected, according to a report in Le Figaro. The changes are expected to go into effect on Sept. 1.
