OFM, a Holly Springs, N.C.-based office and school furniture manufacturer, distributor and wholesaler, says it is making its headquarters carbon-neutral by installing a 250 kW solar photovoltaic system on the roof of its main building.
The power generated each month by the solar farm will then be sold to Progress Energy. OFM plans to complete the solar farm project by the end of this year.
