GameChange Solar, a manufacturer of fixed-tilt and tracker solar racking systems, has received an order from an undisclosed customer for several of its Max-Span pile driven systems totaling 42 MW in North Carolina.
According to GameChange, its Max-Span system has been tested and certified, features patent-pending articulating purlin connections to navigate up to 15% terrain slopes, and has a rugged design that enables 150 mph wind and 90 psf snow loads.
This new deal brings the company’s year-to-date total contracts to over 300 MW, and GameChange projects it will lock in over 1 GW for 2016, with its Genius Tracker single-axis trackers serving as a meaningful addition to the growth in the fixed-tilt business.
