Minnesota-based Geronimo Energy is installing solar panels for Slumberland Furniture for eight stores, one distribution warehouse and one corporate office in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. Each of the 10 40 kW solar installations is expected to reduce electricity usage by an average of 20% at each location.
The first installation began in September. Completion of the first round of installations is expected in early November, with more installations planned for 2014.
