Gestamp Asetym Solar SA and Trina Solar Ltd. have inaugurated a 26 MW photovoltaic plant in Fuente Alamo, Murcia, Spain. Trina Solar supplied 20 MW of monocrystalline and multicrystalline solar modules of the total 26 MW.
The plant consists of three phases: Fuente Alamo I, 8 MW; Fuente Alamo II, 8 MW; and Fuente Alamo III, 10 MW. The 26 MW plant will produce 44,000 MWh per year, which equals the electric consumption of 13,000 homes.
