Gies Named VP Of Engineering At PanelClaw

PanelClaw Inc., developer of the Polar Bear flat-roof photovoltaic mounting system, has appointed Mark C. Gies its vice president of engineering. In this role, he will be responsible for the team that designs, develops and supports the company's photovoltaic mounting solutions.

Gies has over 20 years of development and management experience. Prior to joining PanelClaw, he founded and served as chief operating officer/chief financial officer of Inventor's Workshop LLC, where he developed and launched 10 products and was awarded a U.S. patent for a new golf tee design.

He has also worked as an advanced products engineer at MacNeil Engineering Co. Inc., where he was responsible for designing, developing and launching products while managing production processes.
