GLE Solar says it has obtained Solar Rating and Certification Corp. (SRCC) OG-100 certification for its four series of solar water heater panels. The SRCC has also granted OG-300 certification to 12 domestic hot water systems involving GLE Solar collectors, according to the company.
GLE Solar offers a collector that mounts vertically, thus exposing surfaces to the east and west for longer absorbing hours. The collectors are a hybrid of evacuated-tube collectors and traditional integrated collector storage systems, the company explains.
The collectors can be installed on a commercial flat roof for process heat and multi-family residential applications. They can also be installed at ground level for hot water, radiant heating, and pool heating applications for individual homes, or for various agricultural purposes.
