Tucson, Ariz.-based Global Solar Energy Inc., a manufacturer of copper indium gallium diselenide solar materials, has appointed Jean-Noel Poirier vice president of marketing and business development. In this role, he will lead Global Solar's sales, marketing, business development and product management efforts.
Poirier replaces Timothy Teich, who was appointed the new vice president of operations earlier this year. Prior to joining Global Solar Energy, Poirier served as vice president of market development at First Solar Inc. Prior to his work at First Solar, he was with Honeywell International, where he held several leadership positions.
