Ten K Solar Inc., a commercial rooftop solar company, has completed a $25 million equity investment led by Goldman Sachs & Co.'s Alternative Energy Investing Group.
The company says it will use the investment to support its rapidly expanding U.S. and international operations. Ten K has seen triple-digit growth for the past three years and, now, is setting a new standard for safety, reliability and energy density on large-scale rooftop solar projects.
Goldman Sachs joins the company's investment backing from funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management LP and Greencoat Capital. Piper Jaffray & Co. served as Ten K's financial advisor for this transaction.
