Green's Beverage Store, a provider of wine, beer and spirits in metro Atlanta, has commissioned a 57 kW solar PV system on its Buford Highway location's roof. Empower Energy Technology, a commercial solar PV integrator, designed, engineered and installed the system, which features Solyndra modules.
The system covers the majority of the building's roof and offsets Green's energy usage by nearly 20%. The system will produce approximately 86,000 kWh annually, Empower says.
