GreenVolts Inc., a provider of integrated concentrated PV systems, has commissioned a 288 kW project for Beneficial Insectary in Redding, Calif. The system will provide solar power that will offset more than 80% of the facility's electric usage, according to GreenVolts.
The solar system is located in front of Beneficial Insectary's new factory. GreenVolts says the project was configured to fit the contours and terrain of the property and will allow the natural growth under the arrays to continue to thrive. ISIS energy management software will allow Beneficial Insectary to monitor and control the system remotely from its corporate office.
