GT Advanced Technologies Inc. says that its name change from GT Solar to its new name is now complete. As part of the rebranding and new corporate identity, the company is now trading under its new GTAT stock ticker symbol on NASDAQ.
According to Tom Gutierrez, president and CEO, the name change reflects the company's expansion into markets other than solar – including the LED industry.
