GT Solar Names Four New Executives

GT Solar Inc., a provider of equipment, services and technology solutions to the solar power industry, has announced four key appointments as the company expands its executive team.

Robert W. Woodbury Jr. joins the company as chief financial officer, with over 25 years of experience in financial management with multi-national, publicly held companies in technology-based industries. Prior to joining the company, Woodbury served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Brooks Automation.

Edwin L. Lewis has assumed the role of vice president and general counsel, bringing a long history of management and legal experience as general counsel with technology-based manufacturing companies. He comes to GT Solar from Photronics Inc., a manufacturer of photo masks for the semiconductor and flat-panel display industries.

Brian Logue has joined GT Solar as vice president, human resources. He brings over 20 years of global human resources experience within the technology sector and will be responsible for the formulation and implementation of GT Solar's human resource strategy and related initiatives worldwide. Previously, he was founder and principal of Highstreet Advisors Inc. a human resources consulting firm.

Rick Tattersfield has become GT Solar's vice president of global operations, responsible for overall manufacturing, logistics, supply chain and quality. Prior to GT Solar, he was vice president of quality and technical services for Instron.
