Charleston, S.C.-headquartered Hannah Solar Government Services LLC says that Consigli Construction Co., based in Milford, Mass., has awarded the company a solar project contract.
The contract, valued at $738,624, calls for the construction of a 248.625 kW ground-mounted solar photovoltaic system for the new public works building at the U.S. Army Installation Fort Buchanan in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The project will generate more than 359,172 kWh of energy annually for the U.S. Army in Puerto Rico. It will be constructed using solar technology with U.S.-manufactured components, Hannah Solar Government Services notes.
