Germany-based Hanwha Q Cells has a contract with Martifer Solar to supply more than 42,000 of its Q.PRO-G3 modules for an 11 MW solar farm in France.
Martifer Solar is responsible for engineering, procurement and construction of the project and will manage the subsequent operations and maintenance. The ground-mounted solar farm in the south of France is expected to generate about 17 GWh of electricity per year.
The solar farm is part of an overall 30 MW module supply agreement for solar projects throughout Europe.
