Hanwha Solar Launches Three New Photovoltaic Modules

0

Hanwha Solar has introduced three new photovoltaic modules: 48-cell and 60-cell monocrystalline modules and a new mono-like polycrystalline module.

The 48-cell monocrystalline module, HSL48M6, has a maximum module efficiency of 15.7%, with a total output of 210 W. The 60-cell monocrystalline module, HSL60M6, reaches a module efficiency of 15.7%, with a total output of 260 W. The two modules, which feature six-inch monocrystalline PV cells, offer 1% to 1.2% higher efficiency than polycrystalline modules, according to the company.

The new mono-like module, HSL72P6, achieves a maximum module efficiency of 15.2%, with 300 W total output. It is made from polycrystalline, but has a similar structure to monocrystalline modules. This gives the module an energy efficiency conversion rate comparable to conventional monocrystalline technology, but at a lower price, Hanwha Solar says.
