Harris Tea Co., a packer of tea and beverages, has completed its second solar installation. The 508.8 kW array consists of 2,212 panels installed on the company's building on New Albany Road in Moorestown, N.J.
According to the company, the installation will generate 600,000 kWh annually, offsetting approximately 60% of the site's annual power needs.
The project was made financially feasible through New Jersey's Clean Energy Program. Harris Tea contracted with California-based REC Solar to install the system.
