Henkel Corp. has introduced new fast-fixturing silicone adhesives and potting compounds for use on PV junction box assemblies. According to the company, the materials can speed solar panel assembly and eliminate the need for racked parts.
The UL 94-listed Loctite silicones are highly elastic, flexible products that provide long-term reliability and durability on glass, metal and plastic substrates across a broad range of temperatures and weather conditions, Henkel says.
