Hudson Clean Energy Partners, a private equity firm that invests in the clean energy market, has acquired a controlling interest in Green Campus Partners LLC (GCP), a development and financial solutions firm for the energy-efficiency and distributed-generation markets.
Hudson will work directly with GCP's management team in its new investment position with the company. GCP partners with energy services companies and project financing providers to structure energy projects. The company's development work concentrates on end-use clients with energy-intensive facilities, including government entities (federal, state and local), institutional clients (nonprofit healthcare and higher education), and select commercial and industrial clients.
Westwood Capital LLC served as the exclusive financial advisor to GCP in this transaction.
