German solar engineering firm ib vogt GmbH has appointed David Hogg as its chief executive officer (CEO) and Carl von Braun as its chief financial officer (CFO).
Previously, Hogg held the positions of chief operating officer of China-based Suntech Power and CEO of Norwegian solar cell and module manufacturing firm Innotech Solar. von Braun is also a veteran of Suntech, where he was responsible for project financing and corporate development in Europe.
ib vogt says the new management team will help the company accelerate the financing and construction of its 300 MW solar project pipeline in the U.K. over the next several years, while expanding in Southeast Asia and India.
