Solar Frontier has completed delivery of 1.5 MW of its copper indium selenide thin-film PV modules for a 5 MW plant in Cerro Prieto, Mexico.
The project is being developed by Iberdrola Ingenieria & Construccion Mexico SA de CV. It is owned by CFE, a state-owned electric utility company in Mexico. According to Solar Frontier, the project will be the largest PV installation in the country when it begins operation by the end of the year.
