ICP Solar Technologies Inc., a developer, manufacturer and marketer of proprietary solar panels and products, has reached an agreement with Integrated Metering Systems (IMS) of Largo, Fla., to market the GreenMeter in North America in conjunction with IMS technology.
According to the companies, ICP Solar's GreenMeter will now be able to integrate with IMS kWh meters and allow for a more precise reading of electricity consumption and production – meeting or exceeding requirements for revenue-grade monitoring or solar subsidy programs worldwide. Sales of the combined system are expected to begin later this quarter.
‘Having the ability to offer a revenue-grade solution to the global market that is accurate and reliable has been a key goal for ICP Solar,’ says Sass Peress, CEO of ICP. ‘The GreenMeter will now be able to monitor energy usage data with greater precision and instantaneously provide this information to the Web, where clients can access the analysis anywhere in the world.’
