Germany-based IdeemaSun energy GmbH says it has entered the Eastern European solar market by completing a 2 MW solar farm near Bucharest, Romania.
The company served as the engineering, procurement and construction partner for a Romanian investor. Construction involved the installation of approximately 8,300 Hanwha SolarOne modules and 66 Power-One inverters. The plant is expected to produce approximately 2,700 MWh of electricity annually.
