Germany-based Ideematec and Fremont, Calif.-based Solaria Corp. have signed a contract for 40 MW of photovoltaic tracker systems.
The Ideematec trackers and Solaria PV modules will deliver an integrated system that combines Solaria's low-concentration, high-efficiency modules with Ideematec's trackers and mounting systems, the companies state.
The ground-mounted Solaria STS-1 tracking system is designed for large commercial and utility customers. Each tracker is equipped with 20 Solaria modules; up to 150 trackers are supported by one controller.
