Registration will open Monday, Dec. 26, for the 38th IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference (PVSC), a conference for PV scientists and engineers to be held June 3-8, 2012, in Austin, Texas. The PVSC focuses on the latest findings in all aspects of PV technology, from research and development to system application.
The program committee is currently accepting technical submissions for presentation during the conference. Prospective authors are invited to submit technical abstracts by the deadline of Feb. 5, 2012. The highest-caliber papers will be considered for inclusion in the peer-reviewed IEEE Journal of Photovoltaics. The formal call for papers can be viewed here.
Nominations are also open for the prestigious William R. Cherry Award, presented to an individual engineer or scientist who has made significant strides to further the science and technology of photovoltaics during his or her career.
