According to the company, secureWISE is already recognized as a leading remote-collaboration and secure-connectivity solution for the semiconductor industry. ILS Technology now plans to begin demonstrating the business and operational efficiency benefits of the platform to alternative energy enterprises, especially thin-film solar module manufacturers.
Within the solar energy industry, secureWISE is intended to help solar manufacturers better manage the equipment in their production facilities. By remotely providing advanced process control of the module-making equipment in the fab, manufacturers will have access to diagnostic information in real time, reducing the need for technology experts to travel to provide support, the company says.
