Independence Solar and its installation partner, Pat Munger Construction Co., have completed a 300 kW rooftop solar energy system at the Guilford, Conn., distribution center for The Safety Zone.
The Safety Zone, a manufacturer and distributor of safety products and equipment, expects the PV array to generate 100% of its on-site energy needs. The solar project involved the installation of 1,248 solar PV panels and roof mounts. Renusol America provided its CS60 10-degree mounting system.   Â
