Indium Corp. Promotes Three In New York

Indium Corp. has promoted Eric Bastow, Mario Scalzo and Tom Pearson, all of whom are based at the company's headquarters in Clinton, N.Y.

Bastow has been promoted to senior technical support engineer, responsible for supporting customer inquiries and traveling to customer sites to provide a higher level of product support in customer-related projects. He joined Indium in 2001, where he started as a lab technician in research and development.

Scalzo has also been promoted to senior technical support engineer, where he will support Indium's product lines and for advanced SMT problem-solving, as well as special assignments involving key customer-related projects, product education and process training of new employees. He served most recently as a technical support engineer supporting the North America and Asia regions.

Pearson has been promoted to the position of inside sales manager for Indium's solder products, global processes unit. He is responsible for managing the inside sales process across the Americas, Europe and Asia, focusing on small business, resource management, quality improvement and sales of all solder products. Pearson has worked at Indium for 24 years, serving most recently as market manager for small accounts.
