Infinia Corp. has begun construction on a 1.5 MW project using its PowerDish concentrating solar power (CSP) technology at the Tooele Army Depot in Tooele, Utah.
The final deployment will include 430 of Infinia's Stirling-based PowerDish units. Once complete, the project is expected to provide 30% of the site's electricity. This is the largest utility-scale PowerDish project to date for Infinia, the company notes.
