Ingeteam has unveiled its Ingecon Sun CON40 Desert Power Station containerized inverter/transformer system.
Covering an output ranging from 460 to 2,000 kW, the new Ingeteam power station has been designed to withstand extreme high desert temperatures and other extreme conditions with a gas cooling system that can supply a rated power from a minimum of -20 degrees C to 60 degrees C. The transportable container has an IP65 protection class rating.
Nearly 13 meters long, the container has been designed to ensure access to all equipment for inspection, maintenance and repair activities. The rooftop and walls are insulated and sealed against the environment. In addition, the transformer compartment door has a lock code.
