Ingeteam has unveiled Ingecon EMS Plants, a new inverter designed for large-scale PV plants.
According to the company, the inverter provides increased stability to the public grid by smoothing out fluctuations in output power at solar plants. It can be adapted to suit all types of projects and is available for indoor and outdoor installations.
Two different topologies are offered, Ingeteam adds. In the integrated topology (500 kW to 600 kW), the PV inverter and the battery manager are combined in a single piece of equipment. The distributed topology (700 kW to 1,000 kW) features an inverter exclusively dedicated to the management of the storage system.
