Spain-based PV inverter supplier Ingeteam says it has opened two new subsidiaries: one in South Africa and one in India.
The new subsidiaries will primarily target the renewable energy sector, including photovoltaic applications. In India, the company recently participated in its first photovoltaic installation, with the supply of inverters for a 5 MW power plant located in Gujarat.
Ingeteam says it expects strong growth in South Africa's renewable energy sector – up to 3.7 GW over the next three years.
